Bouldering

Bouldering is a form of rock climbing on walls of roughly 4 meters high without a rope or safety harness. Underneath are thick falling mats to land on safely. When you arrive at the gym for the first time our staff will give you a brief explanation of bouldering and the facilities and then you can start climbing freely.

With bouldering you use your flexibility, strength and coordination to solve the different routes. The gym has a large variety of different routes all graded with a number from 1 to 9. Where 1 is the easiest and 9 is the hardest. When resting between tries people often discuss the different climbs making it a very social sport. Ideal to clear your head or meet new people!

Every Monday we create a new set of boulders. This means that there is always something new for you to try! All you need to get started is a sport outfit. We have rental shoes and chalk available.

Safety

To ensure everyone’s safety gym we have a couple of safety rules. The most important of these is that the falling mats are exclusively for falling, when you are not climbing make sure to stay on the pathway in the middle of the gym. When you choose a route make sure there is a enough space, keep a distance of 1,5 meters between you and other climbers.

We have a couple of holds specifically for the use of helping you climb down. You can use these to jump down from the wall from a lower height. When falling or jumping down make sure to land with bent knees and roll on your back if possible.

It is not allowed to climb over the walls, there is one specific wall where you are allowed to climb over.
