Right of access

All users have the right to ask what personal data we store. You can view and change all personal data yourself by logging in and going to your profile. If you no longer have the option to log in, you can visit the bar. A bar employee is able to request, adjust or delete all your data. Be aware that an employee may ask for a valid ID. You can submit a request via email. No costs will be charged for accessing, changing or deleting your data.

Right to be forgotten

All users have the right to request to be “forgotten”. This means that personal data will be deleted in a short time. Personal subscriptions, entrance tickets and the purchase thereof are linked to your personal account. When you are definitively “forgotten” this may have consequences for your entrance ticket. You can submit a request by e-mail.

Protection of personal data

We store all personal data in a secure database. Payment details are stored encrypted in the database. This information is never passed on to third parties or used for commercial purposes.

What data do we store?

When you are in our system, we store the following personal information in our database:

First and last name, because we would like to know who you are.

Date of birth and gender (optional), so that you are automatically placed in the correct category when you register for a competition. We also use your date of birth to determine which entrance tickets you can purchase. Our entrance tickets are divided into different age categories. In the event of an emergency, your gender can be shared with the emergency services.

Address details (optional), so that we know where you live in the event of an emergency.

Phone number (optional), because we would like to contact you if you are unexpectedly absent from a course or if there are changes to the course.

Postcode (optional), we use this for geographical information down to district level for statistical purposes and product development.

E-mail address, this is the only contact option when you leave our climbing hall without paying for your visit and any additional products/services purchased. If you have an account you will need to log in with it. If you have forgotten your password, an email can be automatically sent to you to reset it.

Entrance tickets, because our entrance tickets are linked to persons.

Transactions, because we want to know whether your entrance ticket has actually been paid. We do not store any of your PIN, credit card or iDEAL details.

Visit, because your visit is linked to the validity of your entrance ticket.

Sales because you can order on account at our climbing hall. Making purchases anonymously is also possible, with the exception of entrance tickets that are valid for longer than one day.

Payment details, if you take out a continuous subscription with direct debit, we store your IBAN number encrypted.

What is my personal information used for?

We use your personal data for the following purposes:

In your account you will find all the data we store about you.

Your name and image used when rating and grading routes, but also for posting comments.

If you want to participate in our competitions, we think it is important that this is as fair as possible. In competitions you are often divided by gender and/or age. Don't worry, we will never simply show your age or date of birth to the world, because you will only see the category in which you are classified.

Your name and image will be used in the standings of all competitions for which you register. The standings of matches are publicly available. If you do not want your name to be used, you can set a pseudonym via your profile.

The above information is also used in our checkout. We use this information to determine which entrance ticket suits you best. This way you don’t pay too much. The main reason for storing this data is to prevent and combat fraud.

In addition to your entrance tickets, we also keep track of how often you have visited us in our cash register. This way we can inform you how many times you have climbed on your entrance ticket. The number of visits also determines the validity of a ride card. If the number of visits is equal to the duration of the ride card, it is no longer valid.

You can place orders on account in our climbing hall. If you make a purchase, it will be saved to your personal account. You can pay this bill at the end of your visit. If you want to make a purchase anonymously, we ask you to pay immediately. We do not use your personal information from orders for commercial purposes.

If you want to make an invoice, data from your company will be stored. We will then ask you for the company’s address details and information about a relevant contact person. It is possible to have multiple visits included in one invoice.
